If you have any recommendations, or even better a good source for non-fiction books, please let me know. I’d really like to try and read more non-fiction, but it’s hard to get a good queue going. I read another 107 books this past year, many of them from long series. In general there is more depth and nuance in content on podcasts, and I’m really looking forward to listening to more in the coming year I think there is also something to be said for the type of story telling that is done in a podcast or radio program vs. Recorded conversations can be so much more information rich than plain articles. There is so much more information conveyed through tone and generally how people speak. It’s really made me less excited about listening to regular articles with a Text to Speech voice like Siri. It’s amazing how engaging audio content can be. The show that pushed me over the edge was Startup by Gimlet Media (paired with the Overcast app with 2.5x+ listening speed). This past year I really got into Podcasts.
